As the first home built by DCD, this family dwelling holds a special place in our company’s collection. The brief was simple: build a practical, inviting home that could grow with the family.

To maximize space and create purposeful areas in the home, a suspended stairway under an gabled ceiling links bedrooms. Skylights bring both natural light and visual interest to this central space.

Built-in furniture in the kitchen, the heart of the home, creates interesting angles and uses the space in an optimal way. The custom-built table and bench top warm the neutral colour palette.
