This article looks at how a home’s design and building materials affect its structure, particularly over time.

The structure of a building influences its long-term durability. So, it makes sense that homes with high levels of comfort, durability and performance hold greater financial value than a home of similar finish level but inferior performance. If we put beauty before performance, then we fail to address what is the most important part of residential construction.
